The prices are very reasonable—easily 30–40% cheaper not only compared to stores in MA, but even compared to other local stores in Hicksville. The huge inventory, quality products, and excellent customer service make shopping here a great experience every time. We’re able to buy enough groceries to last a couple of months, which makes the 4-hour drive totally worthwhile. Apna Bazar also offers great Halal meat selection along with fresh Marinated meats and frozen meats Store Manager Yasin Ansari / Bobby is very helpful and cooperative. Store needs an uplift in the infrastructure to provide better experience and competitive edge.

Fresh produce at an economical price . I don’t use Indian or south Asian products much . I came in usually only trying to find something fresh . I could always find the veggies/fruits I need and explore something new . Many south Asian supermarkets smell like some strong incense, but not this APNA. Comfortable shopping environment.

Pretty awesome store and I appreciate the fact that the hours were sold monthly especially when many businesses are closing early. Definitely some place to check out if you’re in a neighborhood and need a variety of groceries and or produce.

A wonderful Indian grocery store on Long Island with large selection of fresh vegetables and fruits. The prices will pleasantly surprise you, the price is cheaper than in regular stores for most products. Great selection of Indian spices and products. Some of them I saw for the first time. The staff not only found it, but they kept it safely, returned it to me immediately, and even asked me to check everything inside to make sure nothing was missing. They showed me a small secure area where they keep lost items—wallets, cards, anything someone might come back looking for—handled with complete honesty and responsibility.
